Injury recovery PROTOCOL

For athletes to everyday warriors

Who Is This For?

  • Individuals recovering from acute injury

  • Clients with chronic or “mystery” pain unresolved by other providers

  • Those with repetitive strain injuries from work or daily life

  • Athletes, youth competitors, and weekend warriors

  • Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA Section-B Benefits) claimants who want an assessment-based care model

  • Engaged clients looking for long-term results — not just symptom relief

THIS IS NO ORDINARY MASSAGE.

Are you motivated and working toward a specific recovery goal? Whether you’re facing an acute injury, chronic pain that hasn’t responded to other providers, or long-standing biomechanical compensation patterns, this structured protocol offers a focused path forward.

We collaborate with purpose. Our work together revolves around clinical reasoning, assessment-driven treatment, and clearly defined progress markers. You show up ready to work — and so do I. When it’s time for discharge, you’ll receive personalized documentation to support long-term results, guide your self-care, and help your regular Massage Therapist or allied health team continue your progress if maintenance care is needed.

Initial Session

We begin with a thorough history review and full-body orthopaedic assessment to identify injury patterns, fascial restrictions, compensations, and postural imbalances (45–60 minutes). You’ll then receive an initial treatment (60+ minutes) focused on the findings of your assessment.

Customized Treatment Plan

Each plan reflects your condition, goals, and how you respond to treatment. We begin with a clear starting structure — such as 3–4 sessions for a specific injury — and adjust based on your history and progress. Plans remain flexible but focused.

Active Recovery Focus

Treatments are booked every 4–7 days to maintain progress. I assign sustainable home care exercises in small, manageable sets — and expect consistent follow-through. These “NET” exercises (No Extra Time) blend easily into daily routines and are essential for long-term change.

Ongoing Evaluation

If progress slows, we adjust the approach. Together, we’ll explore:

  • Is the home care being followed?

  • Would a different exercise be more effective?
  • Do we need diagnostic imaging or another referral?

  • Am I still the best fit for your needs?
