I offer three unique learning formats designed to support Registered Massage Therapists at various stages in their careers.
RMT Clinical Residency
(By Application Only)
This structured, in-clinic mentorship provides advanced training in a real-world clinical setting. Clinical Residents will gain valuable 1:1 experience with complex cases alongside Dena Denali, refine their clinical reasoning, and deepen their understanding of orthopaedic manual therapy and myofascial release protocols. Designed for RMTs pursuing a more specialized, results-based practice.
This learning program is part-time where Residents must be available to work in Okotoks periodically—either half or full days—while continuing to operate their own practices.
In-Person Group Workshops
Available as stand-alone CEU-accredited events or as part of Massage Therapist Conventions, these hands-on workshops created and lead by Dena Denali combine lecture, live demonstrations, and the option for participants to submit in advance:
- Their very own Case History Forms for possible real-time deep-dive clinical application and treatment during the course.
- Clinical files from their own practices (with client permission or personal information redacted) for group evaluation and discussion purposes.
Virtual Zoom Seminars
Perfect for remote learning, these interactive CEU-approved sessions offer focused lecture content, group discussion and close-up video demonstrations. This unique virtual approach will include a “live patient” in office to help demonstrate orthopaedic assessments, techniques and protocols as if the case candidates were present. Participants may choose to submit in advance:
- Their very own completed Case History Forms for potential inclusion as a case study during the seminar.
- Real complex Clinical Case Files from their own practices (with client permission or personal information redacted) for group evaluation and discussion purposes.

In Canada, the Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) designation does not clearly distinguish between general practice and advanced clinical expertise. Affiliate RMTs have been thoroughly evaluated through a rigorous and specialized curriculum designed by Dena Denali. This ensures each therapist in the network has met a high standard of excellence.
You’ll become eligible to join the Affiliate RMT Network once you have:

Successfully completed the required continuing education coursework

Passed both written and practical clinical evaluations
